Senior Frontend Engineer – London

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in London. Our client is building a sophisticated multi-sided platform in the group travel and events space, serving corporate event planners, internal specialists, suppliers, and participants. This role offers the chance to work on complex user experiences within a product moving from startup to scale-up phase.

As a senior contributor, you'll own frontend architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and shape how multiple stakeholder experiences integrate across the broader platform ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build and own frontend experiences for a multi-sided group travel and events platform serving corporate planners, internal teams, suppliers, and attendees
• Lead frontend architecture decisions and write design documents for significant platform changes
• Contribute to quarterly goals and long-term product vision alongside Product and Engineering leadership
• Manage technical debt proactively and maintain technical quality standards across your squad
• Drive alignment and communicate complex technical concepts across multiple engineering teams
• Participate in engineering guilds and cross-squad technical initiatives
• Mentor less experienced engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and direct coaching
• Collaborate with architects on solution discovery and implementation
• Focus on high-impact work that delivers measurable customer results

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level frontend engineering experience with proven ability to lead technical decisions
• Strong architectural thinking—able to design solutions for both immediate needs and future scalability
• Experience working across team boundaries and driving cross-functional alignment
• Demonstrated mentorship and coaching abilities with engineers at various experience levels
• Capability to shape product direction by focusing on problem definition, not just technical solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for design documents and technical discussions
• Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder platforms and user experiences
• Must be based within commuting distance of London, as this role requires in-office presence 3 days per week
• English proficiency required
