Senior Accountant (m/w/d) (Voll- oder Teilzeit)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team in München. This role offers the opportunity to work in both full-time and part-time capacities.

In this position, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple entities within the group. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily accounting tasks including travel expenses, banking, intercompany allocations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting for one or more group entities
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and local accounting standards
• Conducting critical reviews and analytical validation of financial data
• Creating reports for internal and external financial reporting purposes
• Serving as the point of contact for external partners including tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities
• Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, statistical reports, tax refund applications, and annual income tax declarations
• Managing the valuation, accounting, and reporting of financial instruments and investments in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Overseeing consolidation processes within the group
• Acting as the subject matter expert for IFRS 16 lease accounting matters

What We're Looking For

• Commercial training or degree with focus on accounting, tax, controlling, or related field
• Relevant professional experience in accounting and financial close processes
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and HGB
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP Analysis for Office
• Expertise in IFRS and HGB financial statement preparation
• Experience with SAP applications is advantageous
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Analytical mindset with the ability to approach new topics independently and develop solutions
