Senior Full-Stack Engineer (all genders) | Backend or Frontend Focus

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with backend or frontend focus. In this role, you will:

• Handle complex technical dependencies independently to ensure smooth integration and minimal conflicts across the system landscape
• Drive performance optimization continuously by identifying and addressing bottlenecks across the application infrastructure
• Develop and maintain complex web applications autonomously using PHP, Vue.js, and Node.js
• Manage system monitoring, including integration of observability tools, to ensure high performance and reliability
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, maintainable, and efficient microservices to support long-term architecture
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams, acting as a key consultant within your area of expertise

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on expertise in Vue.js and TypeScript (Frontend track) AND/OR modern PHP (Backend track, preferably Symfony), with comfortable full-stack awareness across both sides
• Demonstrated operational excellence through knowledge of modern testing, debugging, monitoring, and deployment techniques
• Adaptive technical thinking to build responsive applications across various API paradigms while maintaining solid understanding of infrastructure
• Proactive communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to challenge inefficient processes in an international environment
• Fluency in English (C1 level) and enjoyment of working in international teams

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is available as remote (within Germany) or based in Cologne, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, or Berlin. The role is offered as a permanent contract with full-time or part-time options available.
