Werkstudent*in Finance (Schwerpunkt Accounting/Controlling)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in München who is seeking a working student to join their finance team with a focus on accounting and controlling. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a modern finance environment while contributing to real business processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Learning and applying modern AI tools to support analysis, reporting, and forecasting processes, helping prepare data-driven decisions more quickly and efficiently
• Supporting the preparation of analyses, reports, and key performance indicator discussions on a monthly basis
• Creating outgoing invoices and customer invoices, processing invoice inquiries and changes as part of receivables management
• Assisting with the recording and accounting of incoming invoices, travel expenses, and credit card statements
• Gaining valuable insights into accounts receivable and accounts payable, with opportunities to participate in payment runs and monthly/annual closing processes
• Contributing your own ideas to optimize processes and develop billing-related workflows

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 semesters remaining in your university studies, ideally in Business Administration or a comparable field
• Availability to work 16-20 hours per week
• Strong numerical aptitude with careful, detail-oriented work habits and the ability to maintain oversight of complex tasks
• Interest in analytical assignments and business economics, along with enthusiasm for working with numbers
• Quick comprehension skills and a meticulous approach to work
• Strong communication skills, engagement, and ability to work independently
• Fluent German language skills and very good English proficiency, both written and spoken
