We are representing a confidential enterprise software client in their search for a Lead / Principal Deployment Engineer based in Munich. This role sits at the intersection of technical implementation, AI-augmented delivery, and business consulting, working with Fortune 500 customers to deploy process intelligence solutions that drive measurable operational improvements.

As a senior delivery professional, you'll lead end-to-end implementation projects while directing AI agents to accelerate build work. Your expertise in process optimization, data modeling, and stakeholder management will be critical as you translate complex business requirements into technical solutions that deliver quantifiable value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business discovery workshops with enterprise customers to identify high-impact use cases and define project scope, data requirements, and success metrics
  • Direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, and dashboards—writing clear specifications and validating outputs against business requirements
  • Configure platform solutions including data transformations, process intelligence graphs, operational workflows, and AI-powered insights
  • Identify process inefficiencies and root causes through data analysis, working collaboratively with customer IT and business stakeholders
  • Design and quantify KPIs that measure customer success and business impact
  • Lead value creation workshops and define measures to improve process conformance and efficiency
  • Enable customer users to independently use and extend solutions, ensuring long-term adoption and sustainability
  • Manage project delivery against timelines, scope, and expectations while documenting solution designs for handoff
  • Develop deep expertise in one or more process domains (Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, IT Service Management) or industry verticals
  • Translate domain knowledge into scalable solution patterns and reference architectures for broader team leverage

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years minimum in management consulting, IT consulting, data/solution consulting, or process improvement roles within software vendors, consulting firms, or system integrators
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency in SQL, Python, and PQL (Process Query Language)
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) and ability to write clear specifications and evaluate AI-generated outputs—prompt engineering or context engineering experience is a strong plus
  • Deep understanding of enterprise business processes and financial metrics, with knowledge of standard ERPs (SAP, Oracle) and process areas (Inventory Management, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable) highly valued
  • Proven consulting skills: ability to facilitate executive workshops, present findings to management, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver outcomes under ambiguity
  • Strong analytical mindset with value-driven orientation and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable field
  • Fluency in English and German required
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50%, depending on project delivery phases
  • Learning agility and comfort with evolving tools and methodologies in the AI era
