Lead Software Engineer – Paris

Responsibilities

We are representing a leading European data and AI consultancy seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Paris-based technical team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical architect and developer for major enterprise clients across retail, luxury, healthcare, finance, and industrial sectors.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing and deploying GenAI solutions including multi-agent chatbots integrated into client websites, orchestrating language models as components within broader architectural frameworks
• Building robust data platforms on cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure), modernizing legacy analytics databases, and implementing medallion architecture patterns
• Developing agentic platforms using frameworks like LangGraph, deploying scalable solutions on Kubernetes with proper guardrails and quality controls
• Leading technical delivery on strategic client engagements, ensuring code quality through formative code reviews and mentoring team members
• Leveraging coding agents as productivity tools integrated into daily workflows, not as novelties but as real accelerators
• Advocating for technical decisions with strong, well-defended convictions presented in a pedagogical manner

Recent project examples our teams have tackled include deploying multi-agent chatbots for automotive manufacturers across multiple countries, and migrating analytics databases to modern cloud data warehouses using infrastructure-as-code for provisioning and permissions management.

Technologies commonly used: Python, FastAPI, dbt, LangGraph, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). You should be adaptable to client technology stacks while bringing deep expertise in at least one specialization area.

Work arrangement: Hybrid model with remote work possible from anywhere in France. Occasional client or Paris office presence required approximately 2 days per week maximum depending on mission assignments.
