Overview
Our talent team is representing a confidential language services organization seeking qualified Arabic interpreters to join their network of independent contractors. In this remote role, you'll facilitate critical language communication for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals across medical, legal, and customer service settings through on-demand telephone and video interpreting.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective audio and video interpreting through web-based platforms
- Answer inbound interpretation calls in a timely manner
- Deliver superior customer service to all parties in each interaction
- Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining strict confidentiality standards
- Follow all professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
What We're Looking For
- Full fluency in both English and Arabic (required)
- Technology proficient with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
- A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noise
- 1+ years of professional interpreting experience (preferred)
- Industry-specific certifications or training such as CMI, CCHI, or equivalent (preferred)
