About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology client in France who is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to join their sales organization. This is a field-based role supporting enterprise and strategic accounts across the French region. You'll be the technical voice during the sales cycle, helping organizations understand how modern API management and connectivity solutions can transform their infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives to lead technical sales cycles for enterprise and strategic accounts
- Conduct discovery sessions, requirement gathering, product demonstrations, and technical reviews with prospective customers
- Design and support proof-of-concept evaluations from initial scoping through production readiness
- Onboard new customers and identify expansion opportunities within the existing customer base
- Collaborate with support, product, and engineering teams to prioritize customer requirements and ensure satisfaction
- Develop technical documentation for DevOps teams, implementation guides, and services engagements
- Contribute to demand generation through blog posts, webinars, industry events, and other thought leadership activities
- Present confidently to C-level executives, directors, product managers, and engineering teams
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of pre-sales solutions engineering or relevant technical sales experience at a SaaS, open-source, or enterprise software company
- Hands-on experience working with open-source technologies and business models
- Foundational understanding of API management, integration patterns, and cloud computing trends
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions with senior executives as well as individual contributors
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Based in or willing to relocate to France
Bonus qualifications:
- Prior experience with API gateways or service mesh architectures
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong technical knowledge of NGINX, HTTP protocols, AWS, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra
- Fluency working in Linux environments
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to DC/OS, Mesos, or Docker Swarm
