About This Opportunity

Our client is a confidential agricultural organization based in Dresden, focused on sustainable farming and organic food production. We are representing them in their search for a working student to support market analysis and sales concept development for their biological agriculture operations.

This is a student position (Werkstudent) offering hands-on experience in market research, competitive analysis, and distribution strategy within the organic farming sector. You'll work on developing sustainable business and sales concepts for ecological farming operations including livestock and dairy products.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of sustainable business and distribution concepts for organic farming operations
• Conduct regional market and competitive analyses in the ecological agriculture sector (beef cattle, goat and sheep milk products, etc.)
• Analyze regional market players and their distribution and marketing structures
• Research and identify sales potential, market opportunities, trends, and attractive niche markets
• Analyze and compare distribution and marketing costs
• Establish contact and exchange information with producers, marketers, and other external sources

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable degree program
• Practical experience in agriculture and/or on a family farm; understanding of agricultural processes and livestock management is advantageous
• Passion for organic agriculture, high-quality food products, and sustainable marketing concepts
• Analytical thinking and enjoyment of researching and evaluating complex topics
• Strong marketing knowledge, particularly in sales and marketing strategies
• Independent and structured work approach
• Creativity and ability to think unconventionally and develop innovative solution approaches
• Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Native-level German language skills (C2 according to CEFR)
