Position Summary

Citi is hiring a Part-Time Teller to deliver exceptional customer service and manage banking transactions at our Lafayette branch. You'll process deposits, withdrawals, and other customer requests while upholding our standards for accuracy, security, and professionalism. Working 20 hours per week, you'll serve as a vital part of our branch team, helping customers with their banking needs and contributing to smooth daily operations across our Lafayette, California location.

Core Duties

• Execute customer deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers with precision and efficiency
• Count, verify, and reconcile cash, checks, and other monetary items during shift open and close procedures
• Confirm customer identity and apply fraud detection and security protocols to all transactions
• Open new accounts, explain product features and account options to prospective customers
• Recommend additional banking services and connect customers with specialists when appropriate
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure all work meets regulatory compliance standards
• Protect customer confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information
• Address customer questions, resolve routine issues, and escalate concerns appropriately

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in teller, customer service, or related financial services roles
• Strong aptitude for mathematics and hands-on cash handling
• Reliable attention to detail in processing transactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work a consistent 20-hour weekly schedule
• Comfort with banking software, point-of-sale systems, and standard office technology
