Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst

Cirichlandwa is seeking a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst to join our team at our City Shops Bldg 100 location. In this full-time role, you'll use spatial analysis and mapping technology to solve real-world problems and drive informed decision-making across the organization.

As a GIS Analyst at Cirichlandwa, you'll be at the intersection of technology and spatial intelligence. You'll work with geographic and geospatial data to create maps, conduct spatial analysis, and develop GIS solutions that support business operations and strategic initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to grow your technical expertise while contributing to meaningful work that relies on accurate geospatial information and spatial problem-solving.

Your Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and manage geographic and spatial datasets from multiple sources
• Design and develop maps and visualizations that communicate complex spatial information to stakeholders
• Perform spatial analysis and modeling to address specific business questions and challenges
• Maintain and update GIS databases, data layers, and spatial infrastructure
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to integrate geospatial solutions into projects
• Document GIS methodologies, workflows, and technical processes
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize GIS system performance

Requirements

• Proficiency with GIS software platforms and spatial analysis tools
• Strong understanding of geographic data types, coordinate systems, and projection methods
• Demonstrated experience creating maps and visualizing spatial data
• Ability to write scripts or queries (SQL, Python, or similar languages) for data processing and automation
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to spatial accuracy
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data quality and integrity
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
