About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking experienced Mergers & Acquisitions attorneys to contribute specialized legal expertise to an innovative project. This is a contract, fully remote opportunity for attorneys from top-tier US law firms to apply their M&A knowledge in a unique capacity—helping shape how advanced systems learn and understand complex corporate legal matters.

No prior AI or technical experience is required. Your deep domain expertise in M&A and corporate law is what matters most.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis and annotation of complex M&A and corporate law scenarios
• Conduct in-depth legal research on M&A, private equity transactions, and related litigation topics
• Review, comment on, and refine datasets to ensure legal accuracy and real-world relevancy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contextualize materials and clarify legal nuances
• Offer written insights and feedback on legal reasoning, transaction structures, and deal documentation
• Engage in remote project discussions and contribute to iterative quality assurance processes
• Support the development of evaluation rubrics and best practices as requested

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited US law school
• Active bar admission in the United States
• Experience practicing as an M&A attorney at an Am Law 100 or other leading US law firm
• Extensive track record in M&A transactions, private equity, and corporate advisory engagements
• Strong litigation exposure, particularly within corporate or transactional contexts
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate complex legal concepts clearly
• Background in legal research, drafting, and review of transaction documents
• Comfort with remote collaboration tools and commitment to delivering meticulous, high-quality work
