[Contractor] Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential product engineering consultancy serving enterprise and scaling organizations across multiple sectors. Our talent team is building a vetted pool of senior product designers available for contract engagements as client projects emerge.

This is a contractor opportunity—not a traditional permanent role. You'll work on different products, industries, and business challenges across our client's portfolio. Projects vary in duration, scope, and weekly commitment. Some opportunities start immediately; others activate as new engagements enter the pipeline.

Location: Brazil (Remote)

Employment Type: Contractor / Project-Based

Payment: USD hourly rate

Responsibilities

On a typical engagement, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product experiences and determine what should be built
• Conduct user research, market analysis, and validation activities when required
• Translate product requirements and user stories into practical design flows and experiences
• Create high-quality UI designs, mockups, prototypes, and scalable design systems
• Balance usability, business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery timelines
• Participate in product and design discussions with international stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
• Navigate both discovery/strategy work and execution-focused design delivery

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

• Senior-level experience designing digital products across web and mobile environments
• Comfort navigating both UX and UI challenges—from discovery and flows to polished interfaces and interactions
• Collaborative mindset; proven ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Confidence working in ambiguity, evolving requirements, and fast-changing product contexts
• Strong commitment to usability, design quality, consistency, and pragmatic product decisions
• Advanced English proficiency for international client communication (calls, discussions, async collaboration)
• Active use of AI tools in day-to-day workflow—for research, ideation, prototyping, content support, or workflow acceleration

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience with modern design systems and mobile design guidelines
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe products, or similar platforms

Contractor Requirements:

• Valid business registration in your country (CNPJ or equivalent)
• Bank account eligible to receive USD payments
• Ability to issue invoices accordingly

Pay
