This remote contractor role allows accomplished lawyers to apply their substantive knowledge in a collaborative environment supporting AI development initiatives. No prior AI experience is required—your legal training and professional background are what matter.

We are specifically seeking candidates with mandatory experience at Vault Law 100 firms who have worked on sophisticated, high-stakes matters across Litigation, Corporate, or M&A practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across various US law topics, providing nuanced insights and guidance
• Perform in-depth legal research to support project objectives and ensure accurate, current information
• Draft, review, and edit legal content including memoranda, opinions, contracts, and related documents
• Assess legal texts and provide structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best practices
• Participate in remote, multidisciplinary collaboration to refine deliverables and address complex legal scenarios
• Contribute to quality assurance by identifying errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in legal materials
• Maintain exceptionally high standards and meticulous attention to detail in all submissions

What We're Looking For

• Active license to practice law with strong academic credentials
• Current or prior experience at a top-tier US law firm (Vault Law 100)
• Exposure to varied practice areas with focus on Litigation, Corporate, and/or M&A
• Proven abilities in legal analysis, research, and drafting across multiple legal subjects
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated legal content review experience
• Track record of successful remote collaboration and participation in multidisciplinary projects
• Experience with quality assurance and rubric-based evaluation of legal documents (preferred)
• Demonstrated commitment to precision, accuracy, and upholding legal best practices
