About This Role

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in Munich seeking a Senior Product Manager to define how intelligent systems understand and collaborate with human experts. This is not a traditional feature-delivery role—you'll establish a foundational product discipline focused on knowledge elicitation, adaptive collaboration, and human understanding integrity.

You will own how the product interviews domain experts, surfaces tacit knowledge, and determines when to ask, explain, wait, or deliberately refrain from inference. This is a leadership-level individual contributor role with the opportunity to build a team as the discipline matures.

Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise knowledge elicitation methods: how the system interviews experts, asks follow-up questions, and reconstructs decision-making processes
  • Design adaptive collaboration protocols: determine when the system should ask, explain, interrupt, remind, wait, or deliberately not infer
  • Model collaboration conditions based on situation, authority, expertise, timing, and necessary friction—not fixed user traits
  • Establish human understanding integrity standards: what the product may legitimately learn in context and what must remain unmodeled
  • Challenge leadership and engineering on questions within your discipline as one of four core intellectual owners
  • Translate complex thinking into measurable, useful product behavior
  • Build toward leading a small team while operating as a strong individual contributor initially

What We're Looking For

Must-have qualifications:

  • Background in AI product management, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, knowledge engineering, learning sciences, human factors, behavioral design, or enterprise software
  • Exceptional product judgment and experimental thinking
  • Ability to think in terms of situations, decisions, authority, expertise, and conditions rather than fixed user characteristics
  • Genuine ethical restraint: knowing when a system should not infer something, even if technically possible
  • Skill in translating deep conceptual work into measurable product outcomes
  • Fluent English (C1–C2 level)

Nice-to-have experience:

  • Building early-stage products or working in startup environments
  • Working with technical or expert user populations
  • Enterprise software contexts
  • Technical skills enabling hands-on prototyping and feature realization

Who succeeds in this role:

  • You begin with the decision someone faces and their authority/expertise, not personality profiling
  • You hold complex thinking while making clear product decisions
  • You demonstrate real restraint about system capabilities versus appropriate use
  • You take full ownership of your discipline and its outcomes
  • You thrive on creating new disciplines rather than executing established playbooks

What this role explicitly is not: HR tech, employee analytics, performance management, personality profiling, engagement optimization, prompt engineering, or traditional UX research. Our client models conditions and contexts, not personal characteristics.

How We Work With You

Candidates apply directly through Get A Job.ai. Our talent team conducts an initial screening to understand your background and approach to human-AI collaboration design. Qualified candidates are then submitted to our client for their interview process. Please do not contact the client directly—all communication flows through our recruitment team to ensure a professional, coordinated experience.

When applying, include your CV and a brief explanation of how you approach this question: How should an AI system understand a human and collaborate with them so the interaction is effective, appropriate, and legitimate? Examples of relevant product work are welcome but optional.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on experience and qualifications.

The role offers flexible remote setup, learning and development opportunities, generous vacation and workation budget, and the chance to define a foundational product discipline at a growing organization.
