About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential management consulting organization seeking a (Senior) Consultant to join their Production & Operations practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transformation and operational improvement initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering sectors. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help clients navigate strategic change and achieve measurable performance improvements.

Location: Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remote (Germany)

Responsibilities

• Support transformation and operational improvement projects in manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering environments
• Analyze business processes and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to the design of target operating models, governance structures, and transformation roadmaps
• Support operational strategy and optimization initiatives across industrial operations
• Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and business outcomes
• Develop client deliverables and facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
• Support project execution across various phases of transformation initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in management consulting, with focus on transformation and operational improvement projects
• University degree in engineering, business administration, economics, or comparable field
• Strong understanding of operational processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and transformation initiatives in industrial settings
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively
• Fluent German and English language skills (both required)
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative mindset
• High degree of personal initiative and entrepreneurial can-do mentality
• Flexibility and willingness to travel based on client and project requirements
