About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential retail organization in Plattling, Germany, seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their growing HR team. This is a unique full-time role with a 4-day work week (32 hours), where you'll take full ownership of payroll operations for assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete payroll cycles for assigned locations, from employee registration through to timely salary and wage processing
• Maintain accurate time tracking systems and ensure all payroll data is properly recorded
• Handle all payroll-related documentation and certification processes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries from your designated areas
• Coordinate communication with government agencies and insurance providers regarding payroll matters
• Take end-to-end responsibility for all payroll administration within your portfolio of locations

What We're Looking For

• Experience with DATEV LODAS payroll software (strongly preferred)
• Solid understanding of German labor law and social insurance regulations
• Structured, detail-oriented working style with strong organizational skills
• Conscientious approach to managing sensitive employee data
• Reliability and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines consistently
• German language proficiency required for this role

Work Environment

This position offers a 4-day work week with 32 hours considered full-time. The role includes flexible start times through a flextime system, allowing you to plan your schedule effectively. Our client values in-person collaboration, so this position is fully on-site in Plattling with no remote work option.
