Account Executive, Commercial ( West)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential IoT technology organization in their search for an Account Executive, Commercial (West). This is a remote position for candidates based in the USA.

In this high-energy role, you will drive adoption of connected operations technology with small to medium-sized businesses. You'll work with fleet operators, safety managers, and business owners to implement solutions that improve their day-to-day operations. Typical deal sizes range from $5k to $20k and involve proof of concepts, multiple stakeholders, and multi-faceted negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through close
• Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting while also working inbound leads
• Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles in industries such as construction, transportation, field services, and distribution
• Manage a high-volume, transactional sales process with consistency and efficiency
• Conduct extensive cold calling and live phone outreach to connect with decision-makers in the field
• Develop deep understanding of diverse business operations to deliver consultative solutions
• Build genuine, trust-based relationships with customers who may be new to technology solutions

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
• Proven ability to handle transactional sales with high volume demands
• Growth mindset and collaborative approach to selling

Ideal candidates also have:

• Consistent track record of quota achievement
• Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes
• Strong background in high-volume cold calling
• Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Innate curiosity about how different industries and businesses operate

Pay

The client has indicated an annual on-target earnings (OTE) range of $106,050 to $151,500 USD for this position, which varies based on location and experience. This includes base salary plus performance-based variable compensation.
