Sales Development Representative – API KAM Supporting

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the cloud communications sector, seeking a Sales Development Representative to support their API Key Account Management team. This fully remote role is based in Mexico and offers significant growth potential within a rapidly expanding organization.

As the first point of contact for prospective enterprise customers, you will play a critical role in building pipeline and shaping our client's sales strategy. You'll identify and qualify new business opportunities, schedule meetings with qualified prospects, and collaborate closely with account management and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, video, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage enterprise prospects
• Conduct creative research and social media monitoring to discover new leads using LinkedIn Navigator and sales intelligence tools
• Qualify potential customers based on thorough understanding of API platform products and services
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in CRM (Salesforce)
• Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Key Account Managers
• Partner with marketing, sales leadership, and account teams to optimize campaign performance
• Achieve monthly targets for qualified appointments and new sales opportunities
• Develop and maintain territory plans in collaboration with assigned Account Managers
• Support marketing initiatives including digital campaigns and events
• Build strong working knowledge of the client's API product suite

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of sales development, lead generation, or sales experience in B2B environments, preferably software industry
• Professional-level English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Proven cold calling and personalized email outreach experience
• Self-motivated and organized with ability to work independently
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Gong Engage), ZoomInfo, generative AI tools, and 6sense
• Enterprise/Key Accounts outbound experience (companies with 1,000+ employees)
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico (visa sponsorship not available)

Preferred experience:

• Background in CPaaS, telecommunications, or multi-product technology platforms
• Collaborative team player mindset
• Comfort with high-volume phone and video prospecting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple daily prospect interactions
• Goal-oriented approach with creative problem-solving skills

This is a fully remote position based in Mexico. The role includes medical insurance, group life insurance, meal benefits, volunteer time off, and additional perks to be discussed during the interview process. Compensation follows a commission structure with a 70/30 base-to-variable split.
