About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS company seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their healthcare vertical strategy. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States, though candidates within commuting distance of the Scottsdale, AZ area may be expected to work onsite four days per week.

In this role, you'll bridge product, engineering, and market needs by defining the product vision and roadmap for healthcare communication solutions. You'll drive integrations with EHR systems and shape go-to-market strategy while translating technical innovation into measurable customer value.

Responsibilities

Market and Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the voice of the market by gathering insights from healthcare providers, IT administrators, and care teams to inform product priorities
  • Partner with sales, solutions engineering, and marketing teams to develop compelling narratives for healthcare buyers
  • Support enterprise sales cycles by demonstrating capabilities, mapping integration architectures, and articulating value to technical and clinical stakeholders
  • Define and validate healthcare use cases tied to communication and AI capabilities

Product and Technical Strategy

  • Own the healthcare product roadmap, balancing technical feasibility, customer demand, and business impact
  • Define and launch EHR integration capabilities leveraging FHIR, HL7, SMART on FHIR, and Epic App Orchard APIs
  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver secure, scalable, HIPAA-compliant integrations and workflows
  • Drive platform extensibility across APIs, provisioning, analytics, and multi-tenant administration
  • Partner with InfoSec and Legal to maintain HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 compliance

Go-to-Market and Enablement

  • Work with Product Marketing to position healthcare solutions and create technical content including whitepapers, demos, and integration guides
  • Enable Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams through training and documentation
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments
  • Represent the organization as a thought leader at industry events and customer advisory boards

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud, or communications platforms
  • At least 3+ years in healthcare technology
  • Proven track record shipping SaaS products or integrations for healthcare customers (EHR, CRM, or patient engagement platforms)
  • Strong technical background with API design, integration patterns, authentication, and data security
  • Hands-on experience with EHR APIs and data standards (FHIR, HL7, Epic App Orchard, SMART on FHIR)
  • Deep understanding of healthcare operations, workflows, and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, PHI)
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical details into business outcomes
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant supporting healthcare SaaS products
  • Background in CPaaS, CCaaS, or UCaaS product management
  • Familiarity with AI-driven workflows in patient engagement or healthcare communication
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms and enterprise provisioning
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks
