Senior Platform Product Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data platform organization seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to lead core platform capabilities and technical strategy. In this role, you will:

• Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for foundational platform capabilities, ensuring technical investments align with broader business objectives
• Translate complex platform challenges into clear, prioritized requirements and collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions across data infrastructure, APIs, and internal tooling
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to accelerate platform development, enhance developer experience, and unlock new capabilities
• Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on platform priorities, trade-offs, and delivery timelines
• Evaluate and shape integration strategies for emerging technologies, including AI/ML services and data pipeline architectures
• Continuously assess platform performance, scalability, and reliability, driving improvements through data-informed decision-making and close collaboration with engineering leadership

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in the tech industry with strong understanding of product and engineering workflows, team dynamics, and modern software development practices
• At least 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in a heavily technical product domain such as platform engineering, data infrastructure, AI/ML, or API development
• Proven background in platform or technical product management; experience in data platforms or data engineering is a strong plus
• Active integration of AI into daily workflows with continuous refinement of AI-powered tools to increase effectiveness
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate deeply technical concepts into strategic business language
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder alignment
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, legacy systems, and evolving technical landscapes in cross-functional environments
