Regional Operations Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in the campervan rental industry, seeking a Regional Operations Manager for the Köln-Bonn area. In this role, you will:

• Oversee multiple station locations across the Germany North-West region, ensuring successful day-to-day operations
• Drive stations to meet targets for profitability, quality standards, and customer satisfaction while developing continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead the evolution of station organization and support both operational and strategic growth
• Hold budget responsibility for your region, ensuring efficient resource utilization and sustainable cost management
• Lead, coach, and develop station teams while creating conditions for high employee satisfaction and long-term success
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement consistent processes and best practices across all locations in your region
• Analyze regional performance using relevant KPIs, identify optimization opportunities, and implement sustainable measures for location development

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed vocational training or university degree in a relevant field, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an operational leadership role with responsibility for multiple locations or regions, ideally in car rental, tourism, hospitality, or comparable decentralized business models
• Experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations and managing decentralized organizational structures
• Proven experience managing operational KPIs, budgets, and costs
• Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of business relationships
• High level of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality, and the ability to solve operational challenges pragmatically and sustainably
• Empathy and passion for people, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
• Fluent German and English language skills
• High willingness to travel within the region
• Valid Class B driver's license
