Account Executive (Advisory) – Munich (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization in the secure business collaboration space. They are expanding their sales presence in southern Germany and need an Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition in the Munich market.

This is a quota-carrying business development role where you'll engage directly with C-suite and key decision-makers across Finance, Banking, and professional services. You'll manage 30-40 new customer conversations monthly while overseeing a pipeline of 50+ opportunities. The position offers a 50/50 split between base salary and performance-based variable compensation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers throughout the Munich metropolitan region
• Deliver on new customer acquisition targets through proactive outreach and pipeline development
• Work strategically with German accounts to identify and develop new opportunities
• Execute regional sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with DACH-focused teams
• Participate in industry community events to enhance market visibility
• Deliver compelling product presentations and structure negotiations through to close
• Provide regular insights and updates to customers while gathering feedback for product teams
• Partner with Customer Success and Commercial Sales teams to drive satisfaction and revenue growth

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of proven experience in direct B2B sales or business development within professional services
• Demonstrated success in high-velocity sales environments engaging with decision-makers
• Track record of managing pipelines and closing high-value deals
• Exceptional business communication skills with the ability to structure persuasive pitches and lead client discovery
• Native-level German proficiency with professional English (C1+ level)
• Preferred: Background in SaaS, financial services, fintech, or information security industries
• Preferred: Fluency in additional languages
