Online Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telehealth organization that is expanding access to mental healthcare across the United States. Our talent team is seeking board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join their remote care delivery network.

This is a part-time, contract (1099) position offering complete schedule flexibility. You'll provide psychiatric services entirely via telemedicine, working from anywhere in the country while serving patients who need access to medication management and psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and asynchronous messaging with patients through a proprietary telemedicine platform
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, screening, diagnosis, and medication prescribing as clinically appropriate
• Coordinate treatment planning with a network of licensed therapists to deliver collaborative, evidence-based care
• Maintain high clinical and service standards while providing empathetic, patient-centered care
• Provide feedback on platform workflows and care delivery processes to support continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Active PMHNP certification with at least one year of post-certification experience
• Current medical license in good standing in at least one U.S. state
• Comfort with prescribing psychiatric medications in accordance with state telehealth laws and clinical standards
• Strong technology skills and ability to deliver high-quality care through virtual platforms
• Previous telemedicine experience is a plus
• Multiple state licenses and additional language fluency are strong advantages

Important: This is a 1099 contract position, not an employee role. Our client will handle credentialing and enrollment with multiple health plans. All clinical decisions are made independently by you in accordance with professional standards and state regulations.
