Senior Associate Venture Development (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology company in Berlin that is scaling rapidly across Europe. Our client operates at the intersection of clean energy infrastructure, data analytics, and platform technology.

As their recruiting partner, we're seeking a Senior Associate Venture Development to drive cross-functional business initiatives with direct impact on growth, processes, and performance. This role sits at the nexus of strategy, operations, analytics, and business development—offering significant ownership and the pace of a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational and strategic levers to improve business performance and drive implementation independently
• Analyze complex business problems, structure data, and derive concrete recommendations for action
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, Commercial) to make processes more efficient and scalable
• Develop business cases, prioritize initiatives, and manage central KPIs
• Take ownership of cross-departmental projects and ensure successful execution
• Document results in a structured manner within internal systems so teams can immediately act on findings

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business, Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, Business Informatics, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience in venture development, business operations, consulting, analytics, startups, or a technology-driven environment
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort in complex, data-driven problem-solving
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with SQL, BI tools, or data pipelines is a plus
• Hands-on approach with high execution strength and willingness to take ownership
• Clear and structured communication skills in both German and English
• Interest in renewable energy and sustainable technology is valued
