About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading technology consultancy specializing in data science and AI solutions. Our client works with major organizations across banking, insurance, automotive, retail, and other industries to implement cutting-edge machine learning and cloud-based data platforms. We're seeking a talented Machine Learning Consultant to join their Munich team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, challenging projects that span the entire data science lifecycle—from strategic workshops through architecture design to hands-on implementation of AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Research and prototype innovative AI solutions that create measurable value for clients across multiple industries
• Guide clients through the complete project lifecycle, from creative ideation workshops to production deployment
• Implement customer-specific machine learning use cases using modern cloud platforms and open-source technologies
• Develop and optimize data modeling, data visualization, and analytics solutions to improve client data utilization
• Build and coordinate cloud infrastructure projects, including data lakes and data warehouses
• Apply LLM technologies including agents, RAG systems, and vector databases to solve business challenges

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field
• Experience and genuine interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including agents, RAG architectures, and vector databases
• Fluent English; German language skills at C1 level or higher (mandatory)

Strongly Preferred:

• Knowledge of visualization and frontend technologies
• Experience in cloud infrastructure development and management
• Background in the consulting industry
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or Spark
• Interest in agile project management methodologies
