Test Manager Communication Management (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization based in Berlin that specializes in security-critical software systems and aviation-grade solutions. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead communication management testing activities in a regulated, safety-critical environment.

This is a hybrid role based in Berlin, offering the opportunity to work on highly regulated software projects where quality and traceability are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, coordination, and oversight of all testing activities throughout the complete software lifecycle in regulated projects
• Create and continuously maintain comprehensive test concepts, test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports
• Ensure requirements-based testing and maintain complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
• Serve as the central interface between project leadership, development teams, and key stakeholders including quality assurance and certification teams
• Ensure compliance with change and configuration management requirements throughout the testing process

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software test management within safety-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of DO-178C standard (particularly DAL-D) and deep understanding of aviation-specific documentation requirements
• Structured, quality-oriented working approach with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency with test and requirements management tools such as Jama, Jira, Xray, and Pytest
• Solid technical knowledge of Linux Network Stack, Layer 3 routing protocols, and common security functions and architectures
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Very good written and spoken German required for client communication and project documentation
