Senior Product Desiner (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in Hamburg that is building analytics platforms for the mobile gaming industry. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Product Designer to join a focused design team working on data-intensive tools used daily by marketing teams at gaming studios worldwide.

In this role, you'll own features from initial research through to shipped interface, while also maintaining and evolving the design system that underpins the entire product. This is end-to-end design work in a small, high-impact team where your decisions reach users quickly.

Responsibilities

• Take features through the complete design cycle: user research, interaction flows, interface design, and delivery to engineering
• Build, document, and maintain the design system, including components, variants, states, and design tokens
• Design data-dense interfaces where information hierarchy, clarity, and usability are paramount
• Shape AI-assisted features, including how model outputs are presented, confidence levels displayed, and error states handled
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to specify components and review implementation against design intent
• Conduct user research and usability testing with gaming studio clients and internal stakeholders
• Integrate AI tools throughout your design process while applying critical judgment to outputs
• Make governance decisions that keep the design system coherent as the product scales

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally on complex SaaS products with data-heavy interfaces
• Degree in design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• End-to-end design capability across research, interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking
• Proven experience building and maintaining design systems in production environments
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma for design execution and design system management
• Active fluency with AI design tools and clear perspective on their appropriate application
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complete design cycles: problem definition, design decisions, final interfaces, and measurable outcomes
• Excellent collaboration skills with product managers and engineers, with ability to articulate design rationale clearly
• Bonus: Experience designing analytics platforms, data visualization tools, or other data-intensive products
• Bonus: Familiarity with React or component development tools like Storybook

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Hamburg, Germany with a hybrid work model requiring three core office days per week. The role offers flexible working hours, 30 vacation days annually, and up to three weeks of remote work per year from locations outside Hamburg.
