Technical Consultant (m/w/d) für NRW / remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization in the Erlangen/NRW region that is seeking a Technical Consultant to support their visitor and facility management platform. This role combines project delivery, technical implementation, customer success, and cross-functional collaboration in a modern, agile environment. You'll work remotely or hybrid, serving as the technical bridge between development, sales, and a dedicated customer base.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Delivery: Lead end-to-end project execution for customized software deployments, including detailed planning, timeline management, budget adherence, and stakeholder coordination with customers and service partners
• Technical Implementation & Customizing: Configure and adapt the software solution to meet individual client requirements, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with all technical specifications
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Conduct administrator and end-user training sessions to ensure successful adoption and optimal use of the platform
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between development and sales teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment on customer needs and product capabilities
• Pre-Sales & Event Support: Participate in on-site presentations, demonstrations, and trade show activities to support business development efforts
• Strategic Customer Success: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for an assigned portfolio of customers, conducting regular reviews to identify optimization opportunities, expansion potential, and ensuring maximum value realization

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Informatics, technical qualification such as Fachinformatiker (IT specialist), or equivalent experience from an IT background (career changers welcome)
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, SQL databases, and APIs
• Strong understanding of technical concepts with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences
• Practical experience in project management, software implementation, consulting, or customer support roles (IPMA certification is a plus)
• Team-oriented mindset combined with structured, independent, and solution-focused work style
• Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Based in or willing to serve the Nordrhein-Westfalen region with remote work flexibility
