Technical Product Manager – AI Neobank

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial products across Southeast Asia. Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own a critical product vertical within their AI-powered banking platform.

This is a remote opportunity based in Poland, working with a distributed international team across multiple time zones. You'll be joining a fast-moving organization where products handle real money, regulatory compliance is non-negotiable, and technical reliability is fundamental to everything we build.

Responsibilities

• Own a complete product vertical from strategy and metrics through technical design, delivery, and production launch
• Shape technical architecture with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive complex trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Integrate regulatory requirements into product design including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI strategically where it genuinely improves outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partner integrations
• Align cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural discussions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment with ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation frameworks, reliability considerations, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration in a distributed, international team

Nice to Have:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
