What This Role Involves

MCD Global Health is advancing rural healthcare infrastructure through a multi-year, federally funded EMR modernization program spanning Maine. As Program Director for Grants Administration, you will direct the oversight of approximately $30 million in modernization funding while partnering with more than 70 rural healthcare organizations to strengthen their systems and operations. This is an opportunity to shape healthcare delivery across an entire state by managing the financial and programmatic aspects of one of Maine's most significant rural health initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Administer grant funding, budgets, and compliance reporting for the EMR modernization program
• Coordinate with rural healthcare organizations across Maine to align grant resources with their modernization priorities
• Monitor program milestones, grant deliverables, and funder requirements to ensure continued federal support
• Prepare financial reports, grant submissions, and programmatic documentation for oversight bodies
• Travel regularly to Maine healthcare sites to build relationships and assess program progress
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between MCD staff, healthcare partners, and federal stakeholders

What You Bring

• Proven experience administering federal grants or large-scale funding programs
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, EMR technologies, or rural health challenges
• Demonstrated program management and financial oversight capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel within Maine on a regular basis
