Founders Associate

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential multi-venture organization with operations spanning real estate, hospitality, and SaaS. Our talent team is seeking a strategic Founders Associate to work directly with the CEO as an execution partner and operational operator across portfolio companies.

This is a full-time independent contractor position based in South Africa, fully remote. You'll serve as the bridge between high-level strategic vision and on-the-ground implementation, building systems that enable scale and removing bottlenecks that slow growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of high-priority initiatives across multiple business verticals, translating strategic concepts into structured plans with clear timelines and deliverables
• Design and implement scalable operational systems, standard operating procedures, and process playbooks
• Build and maintain centralized knowledge bases and operations hubs to improve organizational efficiency
• Coordinate cross-functional projects involving internal teams, contractors, vendors, developers, and external partners
• Create dashboards and reporting systems to track business performance and surface actionable insights
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and partnership potential
• Manage priorities and ensure consistent follow-through on complex initiatives requiring independent judgment
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement automation solutions to optimize processes
• Support the launch and scaling of new ventures and product initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Self-starter mindset with proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
• Background in consulting, startup operations, strategy, or venture-backed companies strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience building SOPs, operational systems, or documentation frameworks
• Proficiency with AI tools for productivity and automation
• Experience with CRM platforms, Google Workspace, Notion or similar documentation systems, Slack, and automation tools such as Zapier
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• Experience in real estate, hospitality, or short-term rental operations is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial but not required
