The Opportunity

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the full sales cycle for our merchant-facing software solutions. This is your chance to build lasting partnerships with business owners and operators who rely on Xplor to run their operations. You'll engage directly with decision-makers, understand their challenges, demonstrate how our platform drives value, and close deals that matter. This role combines strategic prospecting with relationship-building—ideal for someone who enjoys both the hunt and the partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify leads within your assigned territory and across the broader merchant market
  • Conduct product demos and presentations that connect Xplor's capabilities to client business outcomes
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions
  • Collaborate with account management and implementation teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Stay current on product features, competitive positioning, and market trends

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside or field sales experience, ideally selling software, SaaS, or merchant services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to engage confidently with C-level executives and business owners
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and sales metrics tracking
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of merchant services, point-of-sale systems, or small-to-mid-market business software is a plus
