About This Opportunity

Responsibilities
As Mainframe Systems Manager, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day mainframe systems operations and ensure optimal performance and availability
- Manage mainframe infrastructure, including capacity planning, system monitoring, and performance tuning
- Lead a team of mainframe systems administrators and provide technical guidance
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application deployment and system integration
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience managing mainframe systems in production environments
- Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related mainframe technologies
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Expertise in system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
