P&L Leader for Clean Energy Software & Compliance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential energy-finance software organization in a search for a General Manager to own the P&L, set strategy, and build the team and systems that scale their clean energy compliance platform. You will report to the CEO and work closely with leadership to turn early wins into a durable, well-run business. This operator role requires deep product and customer insight, with a focus on execution and growth.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L accountability for the business unit
• Set and execute strategy to scale the compliance platform
• Build and lead cross-functional teams
• Develop systems and processes that support sustainable growth
• Work directly with the CEO and founding team on key business decisions
• Drive operational excellence across product, sales, and customer success
• Translate customer and market insights into product roadmap priorities

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of P&L ownership and general management experience
• Deep understanding of software business models and unit economics
• Strong operator with hands-on approach to building teams and processes
• Experience in energy, finance, or regulatory compliance software strongly preferred
• Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across all levels
• Comfort in a remote-first, fast-paced environment
