The Opportunity
The Manager – Employee Experience role sits at the intersection of human resources strategy and workplace culture. You will design, implement, and oversee employee engagement initiatives that strengthen how people connect with their work and each other. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone passionate about creating meaningful employee interactions and building a workplace where people thrive. You'll partner closely with HR teams, senior leadership, and departments across Sutherland to understand employee needs and translate insights into actionable programmes that drive organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute employee experience strategies aligned with business objectives and company values
- Design, launch, and measure employee engagement programmes including recognition, wellness, and cultural initiatives
- Gather and analyse employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and listening forums to identify pain points and opportunities
- Collaborate with HR, operations, and leadership to enhance onboarding, career development, and workplace environment
- Lead cross-functional projects that improve communication, inclusion, and team cohesion across departments
- Monitor key metrics such as employee engagement scores, retention rates, and participation in EX initiatives
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners supporting employee-focused programmes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in employee experience, engagement, HR operations, or related discipline
- Proven ability to design and execute employee programmes from concept to impact measurement
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence across all organisational levels
- Experience using employee feedback tools, surveys, and analytics platforms
- Excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding of Indian workplace dynamics and cultural nuances in employee engagement
