Firmware Validation Engineer (m/f/d) | Embedded Systems Testing & Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential embedded systems organization in Berlin seeking a Firmware Validation Engineer. In this role, you will ensure that innovative memory products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and market readiness.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Accompanying the development of high-end memory products from requirements through to market launch
• Designing, implementing, and executing tests for quality assurance and firmware validation
• Analyzing protocols, interfaces, and test results using modern measurement and analysis tools
• Collaborating closely with internal teams and international partners on firmware development and validation
• Identifying technical challenges and developing sustainable solutions alongside the development team
• Optimizing test processes and contributing to the advancement of testing, automation, or web-based tools based on your interests

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates with:

• A degree or comparable practical experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Initial experience in the development or validation of embedded systems, or readiness to start your career in this environment
• Ideally, knowledge of software development or automation using languages such as C/C++
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and enthusiasm for collaboration in international, interdisciplinary teams
