Senior Consultant – Financial Services

Sia is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in Financial Services to join our New York-based team in a full-time, remote position. This role offers the opportunity to deliver strategic advisory services to banking and financial services clients while working remotely from anywhere.

About the Role

As a Senior Consultant at Sia, you'll lead complex client engagements across the financial services sector. This is a senior-level position requiring strong autonomous judgment and the ability to guide teams through sophisticated banking and financial advisory work. You'll serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients, drawing on deep industry knowledge to solve high-impact business challenges in a fast-moving financial landscape.

Core Duties

• Develop and deliver comprehensive consulting solutions for banking and financial services clients
• Lead client engagements from discovery through implementation, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Conduct financial services industry analysis, market research, and competitive assessments
• Design and recommend strategic initiatives for client organizations
• Mentor junior team members and oversee project teams on consulting engagements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through executive communication and ongoing advisory support
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership within the financial services space

Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in consulting, financial services, banking, or related advisory roles
• Demonstrated expertise in banking operations, financial products, compliance, or related financial services domains
• Proven track record of leading complex client engagements and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior executives
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• Comfort with remote work and strong self-management and collaboration skills
