Senior Project Manager

Welocalize is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join our operations team in Argentina. In this full-time position, you will lead complex projects from conception through delivery, manage high-value client relationships, and drive operational excellence across international accounts.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager at Welocalize, you'll take ownership of assigned accounts while supporting enterprise-level initiatives alongside our Operations Squad Lead. This role demands someone who excels at orchestrating cross-functional teams, maintaining client satisfaction, and delivering projects on schedule within budget. You'll operate in a fast-paced environment where your ability to adapt, communicate clearly, and solve problems strategically will directly impact client outcomes and company growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using Welocalize methodologies
• Oversee global, distributed teams (internal and external) to ensure quality delivery and team alignment
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, cost estimates, and proposals for client review and approval
• Conduct risk analysis and implement preventative strategies to mitigate project challenges
• Manage quality assurance initiatives including resource allocation, defect tracking, and performance reporting
• Build and nurture relationships with clients at the project level, ensuring measurable satisfaction and retention
• Coordinate with production teams and stakeholders to optimize delivery, profitability, and continuous process improvement
• Maintain accurate financial records, budget tracking, and margin management throughout project lifecycle
• Prepare weekly status reports, budget reconciliations, and escalation documentation for key stakeholders
• Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with major clients
• Author critical client documents including statements of work, proposals, process documentation, and project retrospectives

What You Bring

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree supplemented by relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects and large client accounts
• Solid experience working in technology-focused organizations
• Background managing international teams or collaborating on global product development
• Proven expertise in financial management, budget forecasting, and cost reconciliation
• Familiarity with Translation Management Systems (GlobalSight, SDL TMS, or similar platforms)
• Track record of contributing to process improvement and best-practice development
• Experience participating in client sales cycles, including needs analysis and solution recommendations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle competing priorities in deadline-driven settings
• Ability to lead, motivate, and align diverse, virtual teams toward shared objectives
• Confident presentation and facilitation skills
• Willingness to travel for client engagement and business needs
