About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential life sciences organization in their search for a Sales Operations Analyst II. This role offers significant visibility within commercial operations and provides analytical support to field sales teams across North America. You'll work at the intersection of finance, sales strategy, and data management in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support sales incentive compensation programs for field sales teams, including involvement in compensation plan design and eligibility determination
- Review monthly incentive compensation payouts, revenue adjustments, and performance metrics
- Participate in month-end reporting processes and prepare revenue data reports for management review
- Maintain data quality and accuracy in sales data warehouse and compensation management systems
- Coordinate sales representative product and channel responsibility assignments, ensuring proper implementation and documentation
- Support sales territory management processes, including territory mapping and documentation
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical insights to supported teams
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, or related business field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or Financial Analysis supporting cross-functional teams
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with data warehouse tools (such as Cognos), compensation management platforms (such as Xactly Incent), and PowerPoint strongly preferred
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Highly ethical and collaborative approach with strong personal accountability for accuracy and timeliness
- Proactive communication style with ability to address issues transparently and urgently
- Self-motivated with high bias for action and ability to balance competing priorities
- Experience supporting sales teams and commercial orientation is a plus
- Ability to travel to corporate events as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
