Responsibilities

Our client, a civil engineering and infrastructure organization in Germany, is seeking motivated students for a dual study program beginning in 2027. This program combines academic coursework in civil engineering with hands-on training in a skilled construction trade. You will alternate between theoretical study at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal and practical work on real construction projects.

During the first six semesters, you will complete winter semester studies (October through February) while gaining technical and practical skills on-site. You will earn a skilled worker certificate (Facharbeiterabschluss) at the end of your third training semester. The final three semesters focus exclusively on completing your Bachelor of Engineering degree, including a thesis addressing a genuine challenge in the construction industry.

What We're Looking For

• Allgemeine Hochschulreife (Abitur), fachgebundene Hochschulreife, Fachhochschulreife, or equivalent qualification
• Genuine interest in the construction and civil engineering sector
• Team-oriented mindset and motivation to learn new skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Willingness to commit to a 9-semester program combining study and apprenticeship
• Ability to obtain a practice contract (Praxisvertrag) with our client upon selection

Pay

Compensation follows the German construction industry collective agreement (Tarif Bau) and includes additional payments as outlined in that framework.
