What This Role Involves

You'll work as a hands-on Laboratory Technician I conducting chemical testing and analytical procedures in our South Brunswick Township laboratory. Your day involves preparing samples, running analyses on specialized equipment, documenting results, and ensuring all work meets rigorous quality and safety standards. This is practical chemistry work where your technical skills and attention to detail drive real outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing and analytical procedures following established protocols and standard operating procedures
• Prepare chemical samples, reagents, and solutions with precision
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and analytical equipment
• Record test results, observations, and data accurately and completely
• Conduct routine laboratory maintenance, equipment cleaning, and calibration tasks
• Maintain strict adherence to laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Assist senior chemists and technical staff with additional analyses and laboratory support

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Foundational knowledge of general chemistry principles and laboratory practices
• Prior laboratory experience or demonstrated capacity to develop technical laboratory skills
