About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential energy infrastructure organization seeking a Senior Sales Manager - Power Transformers to drive business development and commercial strategy in the power transmission market. This customer-facing role combines strategic sales origination with commercial proposal management, requiring both technical expertise and deal-making acumen.

Our talent team is seeking a seasoned professional who can formulate winning proposal strategies, negotiate complex agreements, and identify growth opportunities within the power transformer segment. You'll work with cross-functional partners to shape market strategy while maintaining deep customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute proposal strategies and sales agreements for power transformer solutions
• Structure deals, develop pricing models, and lead proposal development processes
• Support and participate in customer negotiations for complex transactions
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with functional partners to develop product and service offerings
• Apply process improvement methodologies to enhance proposal workflows
• Contribute to commercial strategy and policy development for the power transformer market segment
• Leverage technical and commercial expertise to analyze market data and support strategic recommendations
• Serve as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience
• Lead moderately complex projects with defined risk and resource parameters

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, OR high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in power transmission and distribution or power transformers
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Highly Desired:

• 5+ years of experience with power transformer sales
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
• Proven track record developing and executing successful growth strategies
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders and customers
• Analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Experience documenting, planning, and executing market strategies
