Creator Acquisition Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing creator commerce platform in the affiliate marketing space. Our client connects social media creators with brand partnership programs on a performance basis, managing programs across travel, education, food, beauty, and SaaS categories. They're seeking a people-first Creator Acquisition Manager to own the creator side of their business.

This is a 100% creator-facing role where you'll recruit, activate, and manage creators across multiple brand programs simultaneously. You'll be the main point of contact for creators on the platform—approving applications, reviewing content, answering questions, solving problems, and building relationships.

Responsibilities

Creator Recruitment & Activation

• Review and approve creator applications across all active brand programs, evaluating content quality, follower count, platform presence, niche fit, and brand safety
• Reach out to approved creators to activate them—helping them create affiliate links and start posting content
• Follow up with creators who have applied but not yet started, identifying and removing blockers
• Send targeted outreach to shortlisted creators for specific campaigns

Video Review & Content Compliance

• Review submitted videos against brand-specific compliance checklists—checking CTAs, affiliate link placement, language guidelines, logo usage, disclosure requirements, and tone
• Provide clear, specific feedback to creators when videos need revisions while keeping conversations warm and helpful
• Approve creator content so affiliate links activate
• Coordinate with brand teams for final sign-off when required

Creator Relationship Management

• Serve as day-to-day contact for creators on the platform—responding to every message about programs, commissions, content guidelines, and payments
• Manage the creator email inbox, reviewing AI-drafted replies and editing where needed
• Coordinate bonus payments and brand-specific requirements with internal teams
• Flag strong performers for prioritization in campaigns and higher commissions

Brand Program Support & Operations

• Manage creator pipelines across all active programs simultaneously, tracking applications, approvals, posts, and conversions
• Coordinate with brand account managers to relay creator feedback and share performance updates
• Support campaign launches by messaging the right creators with the right briefs
• Maintain creator tracking systems and dashboards, keeping records clean and current
• Build out creator notes, messaging templates, and SOPs as programs scale

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

• Recent college graduate or early-career professional with a degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
• Outgoing, warm personality with natural ability to build rapport—you should enjoy talking to creators
• Excellent written communication in English with a casual, human, warm tone (you will be tested on this; formal or scripted writing is a disqualifier)
• Highly organized with ability to manage creator conversations across multiple brand programs simultaneously, each with different rules
• Comfortable working US-aligned hours since creators are primarily US-based
• Self-starter who doesn't need close management
• Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and how creators operate on them
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch in an early-stage environment

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with affiliate marketing, influencer management, or creator economy platforms
• Experience reviewing social media content for brand fit, compliance, or quality
• Familiarity with tools like Impact, Google Sheets, Slack, or similar platforms
• Comfortable working alongside AI tools
