Technical Product Lead – AI Stockbroking App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building AI-powered financial services across Southeast Asia. Our talent team is seeking a Technical Product Lead to own a complete product vertical in a regulated, high-stakes environment where real money moves through complex systems every day.

This is a remote role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, technical architecture, and regulatory compliance. You'll shape products from conception through launch, navigating external dependencies, financial infrastructure, and AI capabilities while ensuring correctness, auditability, and user trust.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery for a key vertical in payments, wealth, trading, or insurance
• Shape technical design alongside engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive critical trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Embed regulatory compliance into product design, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI where it genuinely improves outcomes, implementing clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate product delivery around external constraints including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party integrations
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance on product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural decisions
• Direct experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Excellent product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability assessment, and understanding when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication for effective collaboration across distributed, international teams

Nice to Have:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
