Director of ERP Integrations

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization that is scaling rapidly across enterprise markets. Our talent team has been engaged to find a Director of ERP Integrations to lead a critical engineering function responsible for connecting diverse ERP systems to an automation platform used by hundreds of global customers.

This is a remote leadership role with significant scope: you will grow a team from approximately 10 to 50 engineers, own the technical direction for a mature portfolio of 30+ live ERP integrations, and serve as the technical voice with senior customer stakeholders including CIOs and enterprise architects.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the engineering team from roughly 10 to 50 people, including hiring, structuring squads, and developing team leads
• Design a sustainable team model that may include distributed and near-shore delivery where appropriate
• Set the architecture and standards for connectors across on-premise, cloud, REST, and file-based integration patterns
• Drive reusability and consistency in mapping ERP data to a canonical data model
• Establish documentation, playbooks, and engineering processes that enable a large team to move quickly without sacrificing quality
• Represent the organization in technical conversations with senior stakeholders at enterprise customers
• Scope integration solutions, set expectations, and build trust through reliable delivery
• Maintain enterprise-grade reliability, governance, and full audit trails across all integrations
• Partner closely with go-to-market and delivery teams, particularly in the US market

What We're Looking For

Must have:

• 8+ years in software or integration engineering, including several years leading engineering teams
• Proven track record of scaling a team well beyond 20 people
• Deep, hands-on ERP integration experience with direct exposure to several of: Microsoft Dynamics (NAV, Business Central, D365 Finance & Operations), Infor LN or M3, Oracle NetSuite or JD Edwards, Abas
• Fluency across integration patterns including on-premise connectors and agents, REST APIs, and file or EDI exchange
• Strong instincts for data mapping to a canonical model
• Direct experience with the US mid-market ERP landscape and its fragmentation
• Excellent stakeholder management skills; comfortable and credible with senior customer technical leaders
• Demonstrated record of building documentation, standards, and repeatable processes
• Fluent English and willingness to travel to customer sites and company offices

Nice to have:

• Background at an integration platform (iPaaS), AP or finance automation, or B2B SaaS company with broad ERP integrations
• .NET / C# familiarity and exposure to EDI standards
• Experience building and leading distributed or near-shore engineering teams
• German language skills
