Pilot Company is seeking a part-time Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team at our Troutman, NC location. In this customer-facing role, you'll prepare fresh sandwiches to order while delivering the exceptional service our guests expect when stopping by our travel center.
The Opportunity
As a Sandwich Artist at Pilot Company's Troutman travel center, you'll be the face of our food service operation. Your role combines culinary skill with genuine hospitality—crafting every sandwich with precision while creating a welcoming experience for travelers passing through our facility. Part-time hours offer scheduling flexibility while contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches and other food items according to recipes and customer specifications
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with all applicable regulations
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and responding to special requests
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments accurately
- Keep the food preparation area clean and organized throughout your shift
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed to support service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Customer service experience or demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diverse customers
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety practices
