Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential mortgage lending organization, is seeking a Sr. Mortgage Loan Officer to guide borrowers through the loan process from application to closing. You will:

  • Interview borrowers to identify loan products that align with their budget and financial goals
  • Gather documentation, evaluate creditworthiness, and submit applications
  • Present loan options to customers and secure interest rate lock-ins in a timely manner
  • Utilize mortgage lending systems to input information, qualify loans, and obtain pre-approvals
  • Coordinate with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, and insurance providers to satisfy underwriting requirements
  • Remain accessible to buyers and stakeholders throughout the transaction to answer questions and provide updates
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by networking with realtors, insurance agents, business owners, and past clients
  • Provide all required loan disclosures and notices in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Organize and attend loan closings with clients and partners
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through consistent follow-up via text, calls, and emails

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Active National Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLS) license
  • 5+ years of relevant financial loan experience at a commercial bank, credit union, mortgage company, or other financial institution
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to regulatory compliance
  • Proven track record in customer relationship management and sales pipeline development
