Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SAP client seeking an experienced IM/WM Consultant to join their team in Mexico. In this role, you will:
- Configure and support IM-WM functionalities in SAP, including inbound processes, outbound processes, internal warehouse movements, and putaway/picking strategies
- Administer and maintain WM master data
- Integrate warehouse systems with automated storage and retrieval solutions using IDOCs
- Develop comprehensive technical and functional documentation, including technical specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation
- Collaborate on S/4HANA migration projects (desirable)
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure proper process implementation
- Recommend warehouse best practices and optimize logistics processes
- Provide basic ABAP support for debugging and exploring technical objects
What We're Looking For
Our client requires a seasoned SAP professional with the following qualifications:
- 15+ years of hands-on experience configuring IM-WM functionalities in SAP
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and logistics best practices
- Advanced expertise in SAP IM-WM
- Experience with automated storage and retrieval system interfaces
- Basic ABAP knowledge for technical troubleshooting
- Advanced English proficiency (required)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and business conversations
- Results-oriented mindset with strong teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to complex environments with technical and functional leadership experience
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects is highly desirable
