Sr Product Manager – Ion Systems

Intuitive is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Ion Systems in Sunnyvale, CA, US to lead the development and commercialization of next-generation surgical and patient care solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager – Ion Systems at Intuitive, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market execution for a portfolio of advanced medical devices and software platforms serving surgical teams and healthcare systems. This full-time position, based in Sunnyvale, California, offers the opportunity to shape the future of minimally invasive care and digital health transformation. You'll work across clinical evidence, technology innovation, and commercial execution to drive adoption and impact in the operating room and across healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Ion Systems offerings, informed by clinical evidence, physician feedback, and market dynamics
• Define product requirements, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with healthcare providers, surgeons, and patients
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, clinical affairs, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to bring products to market
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and inform product differentiation
• Partner with sales and marketing to craft go-to-market strategies, launch campaigns, and customer engagement programs
• Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and customer feedback to guide iteration and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in medical devices, surgical systems, software, or healthcare technology
• Proven ability to define strategy, build roadmaps, and drive cross-functional product initiatives to successful commercialization
• Strong understanding of healthcare markets, clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and the needs of surgeons and health systems
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to synthesize complex information and build consensus across stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation, metrics definition, and decision-making
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, life sciences, or related field (MBA a plus)
